Almost perfect in Frankfurt

It was the right amount price and a good portion of ice cream served by a friendly waiter at Eiscafè Fontanella in Frankfurt. I would say it was almost perfect.
The cup of choice was a Marrongláce Becher, a cup with I have no direct translation for, but it consisted of some delicious scoops of ice cream, one of which I think was Nougat or Hazelnut. But the specialty was candied chestnus with caramel sauce. That was a really nice surprise!
The Fontanella is located in Kaiserstrasse, the street that leads from the main train station to the European Central Bank, a busy street with lots of foot traffic. So, there are lots of things to look at as the outdoor seating is right on the sidewalk. There are several tables inside as well.
The ice cream was not expensive, just 5,10 euros, and it was a good amount of ice cream, so surprisingly cheap considering you are a stones throw from the financial centre of Europe. The Fontanella has made ice cream for a long time and has a licence to make it!
You might wonder what I meant with "almost perfect"? Well, as I have said before perfect ice cream should not melt in the cup. Unfortunaly this one did melt a little too soon, but it was still very good, so I will not make a big issue of that this time
